Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about connecting your Etsy shop to ViralFarm.
What is ViralFarm for Etsy sellers?
ViralFarm turns the listings already in your Etsy shop into ready-to-post social content — product carousels, Pinterest pins, and short-form posts — each one linking back to the listing it was built from.
How do I connect my Etsy shop?
Click "Connect your Etsy shop" and you are sent to Etsy to authorize ViralFarm. You approve the connection on Etsy’s own screen, then land back in ViralFarm with your active listings ready to turn into posts. You never give ViralFarm your Etsy password.
What does ViralFarm access from my shop?
Only what it needs to build posts: your active listings — titles, descriptions, photos, prices, tags — and your shop and listing URLs so posts can link back. ViralFarm does not access payment details, payouts, or buyer information.
Do posts link back to my Etsy shop?
Yes. Every post is built from a specific listing and ships with a caption and link pointing back to that listing on Etsy, so the traffic a post earns lands on the page where the sale happens.
Does it use my own listing photos?
Yes. Your listing photography comes across with the listing, gets scored for quality, and is matched to the slide it belongs on — so posts look like your shop rather than generic stock.
Will it invent details about my products?
No. Copy is grounded in your own listing text, and the prompts forbid inventing materials, dimensions, prices, or claims your listing does not make.
Can I disconnect my shop later?
Yes. You can revoke ViralFarm’s access at any time from your ViralFarm settings or from your Etsy account, and the connection stops immediately.
Is ViralFarm free to try?
Yes. Create an account free — no credit card required — and you get free credits to run your shop through and see the posts before paying anything.
